Driveways
Imprinted concrete, block paving, porcelain and tarmac, laid properly from the ground up.
Driveways
A driveway is the first thing anyone sees of your home, and it takes more punishment than any other surface you own. Cars, weather, weeds and years of use find every shortcut in the base. We do not take shortcuts. Every drive we lay starts with the ground being dug out, compacted and built up properly, so the finish on top stays flat and stays looking new.
Pattern imprinted concrete is our speciality. It gives you the look of stone, slate or cobbles in one continuous slab with no joints for weeds to grow through, and we are qualified imprinted concrete installers with more than 20 years behind us. If you prefer block paving, exterior porcelain, tarmac or resin, we lay those to the same standard.
We are happy to do any size of drive, but large driveways and full front garden conversions are where we do our best work. If you want the whole frontage transformed in one go, that is exactly the job we want to hear about.

The problems we are asked to fix
Puddles and sinking
A drive that dips or holds water was laid on a poor base. The surface is not the problem, the ground underneath is.
Weeds through every joint
Old block paving and cracked concrete give weeds hundreds of places to root, and it never stays tidy for long.
A drive that is too small
Two cars, a van and a front garden nobody uses. Squeezing onto the road is a daily irritation.

Driveways FAQs
How long does a new driveway take?
Most driveways take between three days and a week depending on size and the surface you choose. Imprinted concrete needs time to cure before you drive on it, and we will tell you exactly how long when we quote.
Which driveway surface lasts longest?
Laid on a proper base, imprinted concrete, block paving and porcelain all last decades. Imprinted concrete needs the least maintenance because there are no joints. We will talk you through the pros and cons of each on site.
Do you dig out the old drive?
Yes. We remove the old surface, dig out to the right depth and build the base up in compacted layers. That base is what makes the difference between a drive that lasts and one that sinks.
